On September 10, 2012, and at the request of Ty Frisby, of 5g Aviation, Inc., I flew my A36TC Bonanza to SNA to have the doors removed so we could proceed with a photo Shoot of our new Decathlon.Ty recommended me to your shop and I am glad he did. Your service, attention to detail, and your mechanic’s quick thinking made the door removal very easy. Most importantly, you performed your service for no charge for our new company, 5g Aviation, Inc.We thank you for that service.Following your friendly service, I received a weight and balance update in the mail.Again we thank you for your service and look forward to many years of beneficial business between our two companies. Very truly yours,

David L. Hughes

I have used Jay’s aircraft for my Columbia 400 since new. Jay has been spot on with aircraft issues over the last 6 years. He is my first choice in CA for repair and with reasonable prices.

Ron Arnott

I have had my airplane maintained exclusively at Jay’s Aircraft Maintenance, Inc. since I purchased the a/c in 2000. I am completely satisfied with all aspects of Jay’s operation, from the friendly and helpful office staff to the pros in the hangar and of course, Jay himself. I have an older C172, but I feel that I am treated with the same attention as the most expensive turboprop! I would recommend Jay’s to anyone.

Ron Austin

Jay’s takes a practical approach to aircraft maintenance that is tough to find. Since they are pilots, they understand our problems easier and they always work to get me back in the air. I never have to worry and their bills are always more than fair. I can’t say anymore about Jay and his fantastic team other than I trust my family’s safety to them.

Jason Talley, owner of a Piper Malibu and a Piper Malibu Meridian

I bought my Piper Warrior in 1979 from Martin Aircraft which at that time sold airplanes on the field at SNA. Over the years I have used many aircraft mechanics. The good ones are now working on planes at that Great Airport in the Sky while, unfortunately the bad ones are still around to screw up your pistons and prop. Once I found Jay my airplane is as happy as a Warrior can be. Jay and his crew are professional, knowledgeable and above all, honest. Whether you fly in or taxi in I would highly recommend Jays Aircraft Maintenance at SNA.

It has been a pleasure to have your company work on my two airplanes since 1992! The service has been great and at a reasonable cost. I have had a Beech A33 and now a twin Cessna 340. Jay’s aircraft has performed routine maintenance and annuals on both planes since I have owned them. You could say I trust him with my life. Thank you to everyone at Jay’s Aircraft!

Jay has been servicing my aircraft for over 12 years now and quite frankly, I would not go to anyone else. Jay’s has always been upfront, on time and done right every single time!! They are very reasonably priced and never have I felt that they weren’t completely honest with all of the charges. Everyone at Jay’s is fantastic. From all of the mechanics to Jay’s wife in the office, everyone is very friendly and personable and ALWAYS make time for you should you stop by. Jay’s is FANTASTIC. Keep up the great work.

It is with great pleasure that I am recommending Jay’s Aircraft Maintenance to new prospective customers. Jay’s has maintained several airplanes for me over many years, and they have delivered for me on so many different levels. With over 40 years of experience, Jay is my best resource for expert advice relating to the maintenance and repair of my airplane. He is always my first call when I discover that something isn’t working properly. We’ve spent lots of time together solving problems over the years, and I truly value his expertise and sound judgment. Amir provides outstanding leadership at the shop that ensures that maintenance and repairs and get done right the first time around, and in a timely fashion. Amir always seems to find a way to accommodate special requests such as meeting tight time-frames, or quickly sourcing parts. Finally, Maria does a great job of making sure that all log entries are current, and keeps everyone at the shop in-line. She is such a pleasure to deal with. Most importantly, I have come to value my warm and lasting friendships with Jay, Maria, Amir and all of the great people at Jay’s who ensure my safety in the sky. You guys rock!! All the best,

Steve Horowitz, owner of a Cessna 400

Except for routine maintenance, it’s a rare occasion that the need for repair comes at a convenient time. Any time I have had the need for immediate repair, you have met with me and worked out a mutual schedule, generally within a few short days, to get my airplane back in service. You have always been fair with me and created a plan for repair at a reasonable expense. Thanks again Jay. Regards,

Vince Hewitt, owner of a Piper Cherokee

Starting with Jay and working my way down, I haven’t met a group of people in this industry who are not only so very good at what they do but are all the nicest group of people assembled under one roof. Please buy a pizza lunch on me. Regards,

Joe Rydzewski, owner of a Cessna 172N

I’ve been a customer of Jay’s since acquiring my Skylane in September, 2000. My airplane’s previous owner used Jay’s for all maintenance prior to my acquiring it, thus Jay’s records contain a very thorough paper trail of its maintenance history. I’ve developed a personal relationship with Marie, Jay, Claude, Matt and most of his talented crew of mechanics. They’ve never steered me wrong with any questions I’ve had about my airplane. I continually recommend Jay’s Aircraft Maintenance, Inc. to anyone that asks. And, Jay welcomes (puts up with) my participation during annuals. I use no other repair station for service. His is my first stop with any question. I’m happy to recommend Jays.

Joe Finnell

Jay has maintained my aircraft for over twenty years on my B36TC then a Duke, and now minor work on my King Air. That by itself should speak volumes. He does excellent work at a fair price and above all stands by his work. I highly recommend him.

John Wayne Airport might not be a homely small town field, but when it comes to getting some help with my airplane it sure feels that way. Jay and the crew over at his shop have always exceeded my expectations and provided complete satisfaction. Even though they are constantly busy, I have never been turned away when I’ve needed a last minute fix, or some expert advice. It is clear that the cheerful friendliness that Jay exudes is shared by his staff. I always feel welcomed and appreciated when doing business with them. Jay’s Aircraft Maintenance, Inc. has performed service on my aircraft since it was new in 2008, and he has kept it like new ever since. His pricing is reasonable, especially considering the location, and the convenience is unparalleled. All I need to do is give them a call, and they pick up my airplane at the tie-down, perform the service, and put it back all nice and ready to go. To everyone at Jay’s, my thanks, and a sincere referral to aviators in need of a reliable, friendly, service center.

Christopher J. McDivit, owner of a Cessna 172S
